How big is the Half Pint and is she available for both indoor and outdoor events?
9.8 feet long
5 feet wide
6 feet tall

The Half Pint is ideal for either an outdoor or indoor event.  While she may loom large in pictures, the Half Pint is aptly named and is a diminutive cutie pie. Punching above her weight, her petite dimensions allow us to squeeze her into more places than you can imagine.  Most corporate freight elevators will work. Double doors at event venues too. Hello rooftop!! 

Do you require a power source? 
Indeed.  Our kegs need 110V power to run our draft equipment. Preferably dedicated.  No reliable power source on site? Fear not.   We are able to provide a quiet generator if need be.  Please discuss this with our team at the time of booking.

What is included in my Half Pint rental cost?
Our minimum rental fee for a 2 hour event is $1,500.  $750 per add’l hour.  We understand that each event is different and recommend a conversation to better understand your specific needs.  We can then provide you with a custom quote.  

Fee Includes:
2 smartly attired and charming bartenders.
Disposable drinkware.
Delivery (Travel Fees may apply.)
Set up and breakdown.
Full liquor liability.
Top Hops Beer Shop beer consult.

Fee Does Not Include:
Your alcohol.  See below.
Staff gratuity.

How much will the alcohol cost?
The Half Pint has a five tap system and can hold up to five sixtels of scrumptious craft beer, sparkling wine, rose cider, ciders or non-alcoholic beer.  We are happy to curate your five tap lines based on your style/brewer preferences or you can let us know exactly what you’d like and we’ll do our absolute best to deliver. Talking about beer is what we do best so rest assured you’ll be in good hands whether you know exactly what you’d like or prefer that we drive the boat.

Our standard tier pricing for 5 tap lines is $30 per person for a 2 hour event.  
Our premium tier pricing is $45 per person.

What are my beverage options?  What if I have non beer loving,  non alc guests?
Our Half Pint was created to supply exceptional draft beer for your event. We offer a wide variety of high quality beer options on tap with a wide range of style and brewer options.  We are also able to serve sparkling wine, rose cider, ciders or non-alcoholic beer on tap.    Fear not as we have plenty of options for your guests to appreciate.  

Add ons are available for $10 per person, per hour.
Wine:  Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Cotes du Rhone, Pinot Noir, Rose
Bubbly:  Prosecco and Champagne
Cider:  Selection of 4

(Additional offerings can usually be accommodated upon request)

How do you serve the beer and wine?
In high quality, recyclable, bpa free, shatterproof glasses. These glasses can be personalized or branded for an additional cost (minimum count required with ample lead time).  Old-fashioned glassware is also available for rental upon request.

Do I need a liquor license?
We have licensing covered for any private events.  We will need to secure a one time catering permit for any corporate events.  

How far will you travel?
Our pricing includes delivery of the Half Pint within NYC or on Shelter Island, where we hang our hat much of the time.   We are very happy to travel further afield for an additional charge (approximately $100 +).

What do I need to reserve the Half Pint?
A 50% deposit is due along with a signed contract upon booking. The remaining balance is due 30 days prior to your event date. On short notice orders (less than 30 days), full payment is due upfront. 

What is your cancellation policy?
We require a 50% deposit upon booking. The remaining 50% balance is due 30 days prior to the event. Bookings cancelled within 120 days of the event are not eligible for a deposit refund, unless we are able to secure another event for your date. No credits will be granted for any cancellations within 30 days of your event date.

In the event of inclement weather we will do our best to accommodate if you wish to reschedule. 

Are you fully insured?
Yes, with both liquor liability and general liability insurance. All details available upon request.
